A Life Restored/English

I don’t know about you but, in my life I have encountered many disappointments. I have had moments in my life when getting out of bed seemed like a chore! At one time in my life I was plagued with so much depression and hopelessness, that after arising out of bed I would go in the bathroom and cry, what seemed like forever. My life was being stolen from me and I did not know how to make it stop!

This picture is how I felt! In the middle of a storm, being tossed about, darkness everywhere, with no view of any light breaking through!

Since moving from Michigan less than three years ago, to Missouri and becoming an active member of World Revival Church, listen to what has happened. The very first thing that happened to me was during the very first service that we attended. We came up on a Friday, it was November in the year 2009. I remember all the details, they are as vivid as pink in the sky today.

We made it to the hotel around 3p.m.. It was the hotel that was offering discounts to the people, who traveled from around the world to attend the services. That was us, we had been watching World Revival Church on Daystar and recording every program for almost one year! We had no internet, we lived in the country, so Daystar was all we had. Through that program we were able to experience a church that had a real, tangible presence and power of God, flowing through every service into our home!

Here we were, it had taken us almost one year, just to get here. The forces that were trying to keep us from coming, kept piling up, but we knew that if we could just touch the hem of His garment the storms would cease! We had five of us, my husband, I, two of our three sons and daughter. There we were, we were sitting on the left side of the sanctuary, camera’s everywhere and worship began, the moment I had waited for, for 10 years! I longed to be in a sanctuary full of people wanting to worship a living God! I had come to believe no one else in the entire world wanted to worship Jesus!

I raised my hands and fought hard to get into His presence, there was so much death and darkness around me, it was hard to break through. About midway into the worship, ushers came to us and said, will you come up front, Pastor Kathy wants to pray for you! I did not even know that Pastor Kathy knew we were there! I felt instantly the power of God hit me like a crashing wave, tidal wave to be exact! It was all I could do to stand up, and then FIRE hit me!!! I had not even received prayer yet, I did not know if I could continue standing and waiting for prayer!! We all stood, knowing God had us, He had us, we had found Him, He found us!

By the time Pastor Kathy prayed for us, all I can remember was that she removed darts of death out of my chest! I felt like I could breath again, I felt pain in my chest from the removal of an evil thing that had been killing me for years! She spoke and this is what she said,” All your dreams are going to come true, God is going to answer all of your prayers, all of them, He is going to give you your hearts desire!” She said a little more and then she prayed for everyone else, but I don’t remember what else she said! God had grabbed me and I could no longer stand, He covered me like a warm blanket that is put on a sick child, who was cold and shaking, because of a fever. I will have to order the d.v.d. so that I can remember the whole thing!

In the three years that we have been here, every service is as transforming and life changing as our first one! Here is what I have seen over the last 3 years! I have watched, prayer after prayer after prayer get answered! I am living out the words that Kathy Gray spoke, every day of my life! What I have found is the quicker I respond to the word of God, the quicker my prayers get answered. I found that although the battle may be big, by being here, I am no longer alone! I have the power of the unity of an entire body praying for me. My life was restored back to me, in that first encounter I had with God, here at World Revival Church. Each day is another opportunity for Him to do more as I respond to His voice!

I am no longer the woman all alone, floating along in a raging storm! I am standing with an army of believers fighting the GOOD FIGHT of faith! I am walking into my destiny as I fight for the entire revelation of who He is to come forth in the lives of others and myself! I will be a LIFE RESTORED totally back and walking everyday in the fullness of who He is!

We all have choices that we make each and every day! I pray that you will choose to fulfill the very reason you were created!
