A Word Spoken

Intercession and Prayer

                                                         A WORD SPOKEN

Sometimes in the realm of prayer, we think we have to shake our fists, wave our arms, lay on the floor, bow down, raise our arms, close our eyes, whisper or shout! Prayer is simply a word spoken. Friday night’s service, J.D. King was lined up to preach. At the beginning of the service, he came out with a note book in his hand and said, tonight is it o.k. if we do something a little different”? He began to name off some conditions that he believed the Lord wanted to heal. He named them off one at a time, giving people the opportunity to respond to the word of the Lord.

He spoke out, shoulders, I know that because my husband had been complaining of a sore shoulder for weeks! He spoke out, back injuries due to a car accident, feet problems, sore or broken …etc. He spoke a few other things, but I don’t recall what they were. This is what I do recall; people started making their way up to the platform, and testifying that God had just healed them due to a spoken word. This continued for awhile, you could feel faith rise, many people interceding to see God’s word fulfilled.

No one had anyone lay hands on them, no one fell to the ground, and no one had to recite a special prayer. No, tonight the word of God was spoken back to Him and He healed by the power of the spoken word. I would like to add that it was through prayer that His word became dropped in J.D.’s spirit. J.D. responded to His word first, and then brought the word to us to respond to...God is so good! I love this place! All we need is a word spoken!

Lord help us to speak the words that will bring life to the ones we know, don't know and ourselves! Convict us when we speak words of doubt, fear, death, sickness, hatred, gossip, criticism, or anything that does not line up with you! You are GOOD, so all our words should be GOOD! Thank you for watching over YOUR words to perform them! Remind us that our enemy performs the other words! In the beautiful name of Jesus I say these words to you to perform, amen!

I have another blog site of great testimonies! Check it out! http://givelifekc.wordpress.com/2013/05/17/you-have-value/
